PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
I started my glass art journey and small business in January 2014 to express my creative inspirations and thoughts. I primarily make stained glass and fused glass pieces. I create stained glass décor: suncatchers, lamp shades, garden accessories and custom orders. I also create a range of fused glass jewelry, and home & garden décor.
I developed a successful and growing glass art business where I integrate my creativity with growing trends and market needs.
My work is a collection of original designs for stained glass panels drawn by hand and digitized with Procreate software. The pieces are then all handmade.
I have worked on many custom pieces for clients such as smaller panels for windows and bigger window and skylight installations.
I regularly create small-themed collections and have periodic shop updates on my website.
I have participated in several fundraising galas and art festivals which have grown my network of clients and connections and enabled me to sell 400+ pieces of art.
I periodically give workshops for small groups in the art of stained glass and fused glass where participants complete small pieces.
I conducted a 2-week Stained Glass intersession workshop at Design Tech High School, Redwood city, CA.
EXHIBITIONS
2023 - Color Pop! Exhibit - Color Burst
San Francisco Womens Artists Gallery, San Francisco, CA
On view: April 2023
Glass was put into a pot and melted to a high temperature to create a unique burst of colors which was worked further to create the final piece.
2021 - Spirit of the Season - Santa Wreath
The Walt Disney Museum, San Francisco, CA
On view: October 2021 - March 2022
The Santa piece was fused in the kiln and put together with a glass wreath using the Tiffany copper foil technique. Fused glass holly accents were added to complete the piece.
